How does "The Garden of Love" relate to Letting the Magic Happen?

One obstacle to letting the magic happen is when our joys and desires are bound up in briars. It is useful to know when we are allowing this to happen since this can stop the flow of the magic.

Sometimes the binding of joys and desires seems to be initiated from the outside as when we are buying into others' "thou shalt nots" as in chapels and priests. Sometimes the binding of joys and desires seems to be initiated from the depths of our own psyches as in dark complexes slithering into an amorphous awareness that ties us in knots.

The binding of joys and desires gets in the way of letting the magic happen. Simply being aware of the bindings, even if not completely sure of where they come from, is often all that is needed to loosen the bindings unwinding.
